Meet Dr. John Luther
John Luther, D.D.S. has excelled both professionally and academically throughout his career. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin at Madison with a Bachelors of Science degree in Zoology, he furthered his education with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota in 1999. Upon graduation, Dr. Luther accepted a prestigious, one-year hospital residency at the University of Washington in Seattle, providing extensive comprehensive dental care to a wide variety of medically compromised patients, experiencing advanced training in all areas of dentistry. After practicing as an associate in Minneapolis, Minnesota for three years, Dr. Luther returned to the Fox Cities and formed Timbercrest Dental Center, S.C. in 2003, inheriting the patients of Dr. Louis Eich, who retired to the North Woods after 35 years in practice.
Dr. John Luther is a member of several prestigious organizations, including:
- The American Dental Association
- The Wisconsin Dental Association
- The American Academy of Facial Esthetics
- The American Academy of Implant Dentistry
- American Association of Cosmetic Dentistry
Dr. Luther is committed to continuing education so he can offer patients the latest dental procedures and techniques. He completed extensive coursework to allow him to provide both the surgical and restorative (which he already has been providing for the last 10+ years) phases of dental implants, including removing unrestorable teeth, bone grafting, sinus augmentation, and other oral surgery within his own practice. This allows Dr. Luther to better determine the best course of treatment for his patients, along with monitoring their healing more efficiently. And, let’s face it! Most people don’t like to go to multiple specialty offices if they can get all their treatment from start to finish, completed in one office.
When Dr. Luther isn’t treating patients, he enjoys skiing and snowmobiling, boating, golf and fly-fishing for muskie.
Dr. Luther enjoys the variety of services that dentistry has to offer, and he especially enjoys making your smile the best that it can be.
